Inspiration/Basic Design/Pattern:  Traditional Winding Ways or Wheel of Mystery pattern from 1920's; framed 9-patch blocks in borders
Construction Techniques: Machine piecing; machine quilting
Fiber Content:  100% cotton fabrics, including Fabrics to Dye For hand-dyes, front and back; Cotton Choice batting; cotton, mylar, metallic and rayon threads.

Artist's Statement: Fiesta! is a celebration of color, shape, and optical illusion.  A single fabric of woven stripes in warm and cool hues has been selectively cut and mixed with a variety of hand-dyed solids in the central pieced area to provide an explosion of brilliant color and movement.
