Quilter's Fan

For experienced beginners and up. 1940's pattern for today's quilters.

One pattern piece, shaped like a half-clamshell.

Only four gently curved pieces in each block.

Easily machine pieced with a little practice. Practically pinless sewing.

Different strategies of coloration and value placement result in illusions of fans, ropes, clamshells, pinwheels, borders and flowers.

No-mark machine quilting techniques will also be addressed.
