Using my own "Mind Blowing Stars" quilt as inspiration for the class, let yourself loose with your wildest fabrics and dare to create a truly awesome stars quilt.

CLASS OUTLINE

This class will meet in two all-day (6-hour) sessions. The student will learn simplified, streamlined methods to plan, rotary cut, machine piece and machine finish a sampler-style quilt. The finished quilt size will depend on the individual student.

The instructor will demonstrate the techniques and block sewing order during class. Students will begin working with demonstrated technique and block, then complete desired blocks at home.

Day One: 
Stars made of Squares and Triangles 

Stars made of an Isosceles Triangle in a Square

Day Two: 
Stars made with a 45-degree Cut and Y Seam

Critique with class input on arranging finished blocks 

Finishing techniques will be addressed.
